I am an associate professor of political science at Kent State University, where I research and teach about Middle East Politics. I am also a member of the editorial committee of MERIP and a former fellow at The Wilson Center. In 2010, I co-founded the Northeast Ohio Consortium on Middle East Studies (NOCMES).
